I have been an athlete the majority of my life, playing every sport under the sun. It wasn't until I started playing hockey when I was three years old that I discovered my natural talent for the sport and that love of the game stayed with me until I was in High School. I played competitive hockey and ringette and represented both sports on a Provincial and Atlantic level.
I graduated in 2008 from Saint Thomas University and worked for the Government of New Brunswick. In the past few years I decided to change career paths due to being inspired by amazing team at Formula4 Fitness and their unique and solid business model. Because of that, I have found my passion for fitness and have taken that passion and turned it into a career that makes me feel completely myself. I had the privilege to be mentored by Master Trainer, Omar Ali by taking his in-house trainer mentorship program at Formula4 Fitness then went on to attain my personal training certification through the ISSA.
When I started training at Formula4 Fitness a little over 3 years ago I weighed in at 215lbs. Since then I have followed a customized training program and nutrition plan, worked with the amazing coaches here and I am happy to say that I have lost a total of 70lbs! Having experienced the struggle of losing weight and learning how to live a healthier lifestyle coupled with having type 1 Diabetes, I am more motivated than ever before now as a trainer, to share my experience with others and help them reach their goals and live a healthier, more fit lifestyle! I am proof that there truly are no excuses to reaching your health and fitness goals!
